It looks like Apple has started the process for Apple Pay launching in the UK.

As we all know, if you change your region to United States the Apple Pay option appears in Passbook / Wallet - However now if you enter a UK card number it gives you the terms and conditions relevant to your UK issuing bank. I've been trying this since the UK expansion announcement, and it's only today that the terms have been added.

I hope that we will see it activated with iOS 8.4 on 30th. I called AMEX and the told me that I will be informed about the launch date soon...

Good point actually. It has to come with a software update such as 8.4 so the apple pay settings appear for UK users without switching the region to US. iOS 9 stable is moths away. But they did specifically mention apple pay launching in July, so probably there will be an iOS 8.4.1 or 8.5 with other small improvements.

I called HSBC and they told me early july (AMEX confirmed that will be soon), so I tend to think we will see Apple Pay with 8.4 on 30th.

Get similar for Natwest just much less of it!

Tried my Barclays card and get an error unsurprisingly.

Don't think its going to be much good for me. My Fingerprint scanner only works about 20 percent of the time.
