I bought a new macbook pro m4 and I restored with time machine the last backup made on the previous macbook pro m3 that I sold. Everything works perfectly except apple pay, basically it offers me the cards that I had stored in my wallet (2 cards) but asks me for telephone verification, and not the one with a message. I called the card issuing numbers but it does not let me activate them, they always remain under verification. Has anyone had the same problems and solved them?

I wonder why! Until a few months ago, the verification at the banks that issued the card was done via SMS, now they ask for verification via phone call, and even after calling they can't do anything. Have you also restored a backup of a laptop where you had already registered the cards? Because apparently it says that the cards were already used on the disk by another user (but that would still be me) so I don't understand how to solve it

Yes, i migrated/transferred from an M3 Air to an M4 Pro and it happened after this. Mine just says unable to complete verification, no other options.

Very frustrating!
