With APay coming to UK next month I have question I can;t find an answer to...

Can you add the exact same card to more than one iPhone 6/6+ and use either iPhone to make purchases?

(I won't bore people with why I have to use two iPhones, but unfortunately I do. And no I don't use Apple Watch, just iPhones.)

Yes you can. Each device (phone) is capable of having the card authorized. Same with the watch if you get one. My credit card is on my iPad, iPhone, Watch, wifes Watch and wifes iPad. No issue.

So if I have two iPhone 6's (one given from work / one I own personally), then I can definitely have the same card on BOTH iPhones then, I presume?

Shame there's no decent receipt system built into Apple Pay, though.

Correct. You can have your card any place you want to authorize it.

Too bad there is no decent receipt system built in. I can only echo your statement here.
