Other Apple Payment program or Verizon Payment?

Going to go a payment route this time - I see Apple is a little more but has applecare and verizon is a little less and does not have the AC.

Other than that obvious difference which is currently a more preferred way? I will get at Best Buy for the verizon program or apple store for the apple program.

I upgrade every year if that's any help..
