In my imagination
Just finished putting Apple Peelz on my MacBook Pro and girlfriends 12" PowerBook.

linkie: http://www.applepeelz.com/

I have to say that I am a lot more worry free from scratches on the usual spots and smudges and grease marks on the wrist pads and track pad. I did have to rip my paws off of the bottom of my book leaving some sticky stuff on but I'd rather have no scratches on the book at all. The book has this smooth glossy coat that matches the beautiful glossy screen. They were kind of a pain in the ... um... you know... but once on they are beautiful. The 12" PB peelz kinda sucked. They don't give you one for the battery and the wrist pad peelz isn't a solid piece like on the MBP. The wrist pad peelz were too big for the actual pad as well, but overall it works better than nothing.

My only real grip is that the track pad peelz makes the tracking less accurate, but I hope I will get used to it, or it's another reason to get a wireless mouse. Anyone else using Apple Peelz? How do you like them/hate them?

You can get the same exact thing here for half price:

BestSkinsEver MacBook Pro Full Body Shield

Only $26. I have it on my MBP and love it. I did end up not using the top part though.

I got an Invisible Shield for my iPod since it came with a tool for applying it and a solution but I may as well have bought one of these since I ended up spilling most of it and concocting my own. This is the best form of protection for the iPod along with the included cover, imo.
It doesn't the spoil the look and is easily to remove and cheap to replace.

Based on my experiences though, you should get the BSE, rather than pay for the premium.

Good find. Two things that I notice...
-Does it effect the trackpad sensitivity at all?
-Anyone else notice that they all use a black macbook to show off the skin, but it makes it look shiny instead of the matte that everyone probably buys it for?

That doesn't seem too appealing to me. But i've never really been a fan of the adhesive style protectors for the exterior of notebooks and iPods

I just use an iSkin and this thing, and occasionally give it a wipe with my sleeve and it's all good.

im sooo ordering the trackpad cover, i wish i had that when i got my macbook right away. As it now has wear marks on itfrom scrolling so much.
