Apple Pencil 2 Charging Question

I have a quick question..I have the apple pencil 2 for my new ipad pro..and I went to the widget and see that its 99 percent charged..with a little lightning bolt icon next to it..how long does it take to go from 99 percent to 100 percent charged it has NOT changed for a few minutes still on 99 percent

The last one or two percent on any device is usually a trickle charge and takes longer then normal. Although I couldn’t give you an exact time.
