Apple Pencil 3rd generation

I predict that a new generation of the Apple Pencil will come this year (2022) probably at the same time Apple will announce new iPad Pro models. Probably with the same design but with FindMy compatibly and 1h more battery. I think this new pencil with substitute the 2th generation which won't be anymore available to be purchased and price will be the same as the 2th generation or perhaps $20 more.

Yeah, I’d say a 3rd generation Apple Pencil is going to come this year too, but maybe with even more improvements.

I wouldn’t mind seeing two different opposing tap zones.

Lower two set to what you want: selection & something else bear tip. And undo & something else near the base.

Could be, though I was encouraged to see Hover support with the existing pencil in the new iPads so maybe just further iPad improvements.

Why would there be a rush for a 3rd generation pencil? There are still products out there that support the 1st generation such as the more recent iPad 9.
