Apple Pencil losing charge quickly

Hello, I bought Apple Pencil few days ago. I notice that even I don' use it often, it loses charges quickly. I think even I leave it alone, it loses charges. Is this normal? Hope Apple Pencil 2 will be released next week.

Lithium ion Batteries will naturally deplete if they are not charged regularly. Being that the Apple Watch pencil batterie is fairly small, it doesn’t take long for it to lose some of its charge, so it’s not exactly abnormal, depending how much charge you were actually losing.
