My husband received an Apple Pencil this past Christmas. He paired it to his IPad Pro and it was working fine. About 30 days later the Pencil stopped working and wouldn't take a charge. Took it to the Apple a store and they said it was not paired to the IPad. They said he must have done something to unpair it. They paired it and off we went. Now it's a little over 30 days later and the Pencil unpaired again. He paired it and it is working ok now. Has anyone else had a pairing/unpairing issue? My husband has not made any changes to the IPad settings that would have caused the unpairing. Any suggestions? Thanks.

According to Apple, if you restart your iPad you will need to repair your Pencil. Is he restarting roughly once a month?
