Apple Pencil won’t connect to iPad?!?

I have used my Apple Pencil with my 2018 iPad quite a few times. Suddenly, it will not connect. I have turned my Bluetooth off and back on, and, with my pencil plugged in, it tells me to plug in my pencil to connect with the iPad. I’ve unplugged it and replugged it, but nothing seems to be working.

Any ideas?

First go to Settings>Bluetooth >Pencil. Select "Forget" device. Pair pencil with iPad again.
If that doesn't work, do the same with forget device but don't pair. Restart ipad then pair again. Hope this helps

I actually did the "forget" thing right after I started the thread, and it repaired perfectly. Thanks!
