"Apple performance counters" shows up on my MacBook Core Duo as "unsupported" when I run the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor. Just what exactly is this thingy? Should I be concerned about the three other "unsupported" or whatever pieces of hardware listed? I'm using the Boot Camp 1.2 drivers at the current moment, and they're supposed to be compatible with Vista.

No need for concern. Just reinstall your Mac drivers once you are done installing Vista and you should be fine.
