Text messages on my Apple watch instead of iMessage when Dual Sim is active.

Logged out of iCloud, it wiped my Apple Pay information. Could not for the love of life get cards to load back. Turned off my 2nd line and POOF, was able to load cards no problem.

So what else may Dual Sim be inhibiting!? If the phone isn't going to function properly when Dual Sim is active what's the point 🤷🏾‍♂️

Apple, PLEASE FIX THIS CRAP!!! TIA

Sadly I seem to have a similar problem. Shifted to the e-sim on my iPhone and now only sms messaging not iMessage. Very annoying.

Happen to me too. I can’t remember what I did. But it did take me an hour of trying different things.

Thanks for sharing. I need to have 3 phone numbers and would prefer to have 1 device. This year I am considering upgrading to take advantage of dual SIM, as the use of Google Voice is challenging with more than 1 number. I'll keep watching this thread to see how widespread these issues are - even anecdotally.

It’s been working fine for me. Since Apple launched it. What exactly happened to your messages again? Sorry didn’t quite understand the issue.

Hmmm, I don’t have dual SIM running now, but I did for several months.

I moved my AT&T line to eSIM and didn’t have any iMessage issues.

1) make sure WiFi calling and VOLTE are enabled on both lines.

2) I didn’t have to do this, but often signing out of iMessage and iCloud fixes these types of thing. Turn your phone off for 5-10min, turn on and sign back in.

Worse case reset network settings.
