And stop trying to emulate notepads, desk calendars and other nonsensical ark that was found in 1990's software. There's no need to emulate a padfolio.

I agree. I also find it odd that the iCloud web interface is almost identical, but not identical to the corresponding OS X apps. Why are some buttons in different places?

Gmail is rolling out their new slick interface, which may make these Apple interfaces look a bit clumsy.
