iPhone Apple podcast app

Their podcast app is still kind of a mess, imo. Constantly have to manually download episodes when it's supposed to do so automatically, and when I do I have to start the download, stop it, and start it again for it to actually download anything. Hoped 13 would fix it, but alas...
Yeah you’re right. I really like the fact that I can listen via WiFi episodes on my watch. That way I can be working out in the basement with my phone upstairs. I sure hope they can give podcast app some love. I always submit bug reports but no real fixes. I like Overcast but it has watch sync issues.
Although no mention of any podcast fixes in 13.1.1 but it seems better now. Time will tell
I've given up on the podcasts app for doing what it's actually supposed to do. I only use it to listen to two podcasts that both have a normal release schedule so it doesn't really bother me that much.
Come to think of it I haven't gotten any podcast notifications since upgrading. I just keep track by going into the App.
Yep. And I know it worked before iOS 13 so maybe Apple will soon address it. One thing since 13.1.1 is episodes are now downloading without having to open the app.
