Remind me, even though I do this EVERY YEAR lol, when will we start seeing the emails that lets us go in and preselect our device, etc that makes for a quicker check out on Friday morning? Is it today after the event or is it tomorrow?

Sort of a thread highjack but what are the order options? Delivery on release day I know, but is store pickup an option as well? And if so, how long are they kept for? I want to order but ‘might’ be away on the Friday.

Yup, you will be given the options at checkout :)
 
I don't know be watchful of the announcement just in case they surprise us with preorders right after the event.

I doubt it but could happen, I guess.

normally 3-4 hours after event email comes out for preselection.
 
Thanks for the replies. But does anyone know how long a store would keep a phone? I’d order it for Friday pick-up but might not be able to collect until the Saturday or maybe even Sunday.

That won’t be a problem. When you select store pick up, it will make you select a day and time. The order won’t be canceled if miss it but should pick appropriate best time. Affects others.
 
Hoping for the early reserve option this year. Made Friday morning much less stressful.

Is this option available for everyone? If it is and if I plan to use Apple gift cards, I assume I can add my gift cards to my account to make it easy for check out?

I'm sure I could actually even pick Saturday, but I can't remember if Sunday was an option
 
I dont think its happening this year. I asked via apple imessage chat and they said you have to wait until Friday. Im hoping to be able to fill out all the paperwork and details early. Hopefully the chat person is wrong.

If you go to the Apple store page it says it will be available this evening.
