We all know about the Chinese worker who lost his life over a lost iPhone prototype (i hope we do).

I just read that Steve furiously had a tweet deleted (plausible), because of a NY Times writer saying he was posting from one (why deny showing it to a news writer?) BUT Peewee Herman has a freaking iPad (totally ridiculous, getting the kids hooked or something?)

This secrecy thing led to the unfortunate death of a life over a piece of technology... I say call for blood AFTER the stocks go down but what is going on with Steve? is this some get the kids hooked scheme? and why does he care about some NY Times writer saying he used one that Steve himself was personally demoing

Perhaps if we knew what the tweet was or had a link to the article we might be able to understand a little more.

it supposedly read "im posting from an ipad"

the peewee herman thing does actually give me some relief about Apple lol... yet still if Colbert can wield one for some gag I figure we can get a tech reporter to say he has used one...

Unless is this to tell us that perhaps there are hardware changes still being made? Maybe the iPad is still in Alpha?

Doesnt seem like Apple would be too concerned about any Software problems the tech reporter may have revealed.. i mean it still doesnt ship for a whole month..
