As an industry, i like Apple's motive, they are more likely to help u if you have all Apple products, and will bend over backwards for that.
However, if u are using one piece of third party hardware in between,, i found the experience is not so good. They tend to lead more towards zero in on the third party product (eg hard drive, printer) surrounding the issue u are having eg "fail to print" for example. "Well, its more likely to be a printer issue because its from Cannon."
