I keep getting these notifications (rare, but they do come once in a while, especially after an update) for me to upgrade to Monterey. Problem is, my mac is a 2012 mac mini running the last supported OS that supports it, Catalina. WTF Apple?

Why this bugs me? Because if Apple cannot even do a simple system requirements check like this despite them keep bragging how they control both software and hardware, I'm starting to wonder their software quality moving forward. I mean don't you just wonder for a company that used to brag about the attention to detail to be sloppy in the simplest things?

And it’s sticky too. It will reappear on reboot until I click on it, which will open up settings and software update, and of course, no updates available as Catalina is the last OS that supports the hardware.
