Apple Refurb Prices...

Has anyone checked out the refurb'd prices? I just checked this morning and the Powerbook prices are crazy low! $1700 for a 17" Superdrive? $1500 for a recent edition 15" Apple must really want to clear the warehouse pushing the INTEL transition. These are still good, more than usable machines for 40% off! Late model, won't have to guinea pig the new hardware. If I was in the market for one, I'd be all over this! I'm waiting on my 20" iMac!
This is like when Apple was clearing out the iPod mini's for $159! The refurb page was loaded for about 2 weeks, and the wham! No more iPod mini's!

The 15" only have the 64MB graphics cards though.

64 is still enough for the vast majority of most people's needs. I currently have a G4 12" ibook,1.33 1.5 Gig Ram, with 1/2 that and it does everthing I need to just fine, including PS-Elements and light iMovie work. Tiger is "snappy" enough for me. A significant upgrade from my G3 iBook 900. I think those machines are still pretty spiffy.
