I always peruse the refurbished section of the online Apple Store. I just noticed that the item description no longer tells you the percent discount off of regular retail. I think that information was there this morning.

The percent discount was always a good indicator of how hard Apple was trying to sell the product. Anytime it reached 20% you could tell that that model was being cleared out.

Not always. Often the refurbished price discount reflected an original price which had already been reduced.

Thats very true. I recall at one point refurbished cinema displays were selling at the same price as the newly revised displays. Perhaps thats why Apple stopped publishing the discount.

Can't wait to see what Sept 12 brings.
