Does anyone know how I can use ARD to remote in to my unmodded AppleTV? I can see it in my ARD list but when using username: frontrow with password: frontrow it does not work.

I'd like to be able to just view the screen, not control it.

Thanks.

For this to work the Apple TV would have to be running remote desktop which I doubt is enabled unless you "hack" your Apple TV.

Thanks. So is the easiest way to view your AppleTV screen remotely to hack and install the VNC settings?

So...you want to watch programs remotely? Or check out content on your ATV?

You can view any content within any of your iTunes libraries from other computers on your network by sharing the library...and an iPod Touch or iPhone will provide you with a neat App called Remote that allows much more control over your ATV than the original Apple Remote could including seeing everything in your library and being able to jump to content quickly.

Explain exactly what you want to do? Just view what's onscreen, but not control it? I'm confused as to what is your ultimate goal.
