Hello everybody

Do you have some problems with Apple Remote Desktop (ARD) with El Capitan (10.11.1) (ARD client 3.8.5) ?
I have two iMacs with this operating system in my lab. One is hosting Apple Remote Desktop Application.
I'm unable to share the screen or take control on the second iMac.
Of course, all of the sharing preferences are correctly set.
I can with ARD copy file, send an UNIX command, install software, send a message, reboot the remote computer, but I'm unable to take control of the other computer (screen and mouse).
Console.App indicate an error (communication errors).
Any idea ?
Help would be greatly appreciated.

I face the same problem sometimes not sure why.

Sometime using the shortcuts does not work i have to go to "Connect to Server" and key in the VNC :ip address manually.

One way or another seems to work.

Hello,

It seems that the problem is linked to the port vnc (tcp/udp 5900)
If I try a telnet command on the port 5900 I have this result :
Code:
2013-134:~ pbe$ telnet 192.168.64.104 5900
Trying 192.168.64.104...
telnet: connect to address 192.168.64.104: Connection refused
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host
2013-134:~ pbe$
The port 5900 seems closed. (for information, I have disabled SIP).
I have no problem to connect with 10.9 or 10.10 workstations.
