Apple Remote + Macbook

Hi everyone. I was just wondering how long the range is of the apple remote on the macbook. I'll hopefully be buying one next year and using it for presentations at my school. Thanks!

Its around 30 feet, I was playing with it on our Imac and it worked from the other side of a large game room about 25-30 feet long

It's being integrated into all sorts of apps. I believe its integrated into Keynote, and the next version of Powerpoint is likely to have Apple Remote support. For a tiny remote, it's making a big impression!

I actually tested this in my lab when I was bored one day; the maximum distance that worked for me was 14.7 meters (48.2 feet for the metrically uninclined).
