Just wondering.
New iMacs do not come with apple remote ?
Wierd .:):):):)

because they want even more money off you:D:D
I already have two so not bothered but for those buying their first mac it's a pain.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5H11 Safari/525.20)

It's handy to have but I never use it for my mac. If you have an iPhone the remote app is perfact for iTunes.

If you're intending to hook your Mac up to a TV, maybe. Or if you want to control iTunes from far away, definitely. Although yes, if you've got an iPhone (or iPod touch) the Remote app is even better -- it lets you control iTunes from anywhere on the network, rather than requiring you to be in front of your computer.
