… 3 something now …

A drop from 4 to 3.5 (it's now less than good) was observed in the Store for Canada. psik, is that your region?

… the overall rating has dropped from 4 stars to 3.5 stars this past week. …

If votes in MacRumors Forums are anything to go by, customer loyalty for Yosemite is far less than is normal for Apple …

But such votes are both statistically insignificant AND statistically unsound.

There are many threads in which it has been explained why a self-selecting sample of users who are over-represented from the "user-with-issues" category isn't a basis on which to extrapolate to any overall statistical assessment whatsoever.

Simonsi you can't completely disregard them either, how do you know that the sample is as you describe? A lot of novice users access app store..

The quote I referred to was concerning votes on MacRumors forums, not the App store.

Its weird this. Yosemite is the best OS experience I've had since Mountain Lion. Mavericks was a pile of absolute rubbish in comparison to the stability I have now :p
