Apple Retail Store "Reservation" list?

I went into the Apple Store some time during February and asked if there was any way I could secure an iPhone when it was released. They knew that I'd already signed up to "hear first when the iPhone is released" and they said that I wasn't on the "reservation" list, so they signed me up.

They actually entered my info in from their in-store front desk kiosk, so I don't know how valid the list actually is. All I know is I will be doing everything in my power to get an iPhone on it's launch date!!

Can anybody else vouch for the validity of this "reservation" list?

I'm just messing with you...I can't imagine supporting a school with the kind of winning tradition OSU has, let alone getting to a national championship game.

Haha... You definitely wouldn't be the first to do that to someone from OSU. Luckily for me (I guess) I graduated in December! Now I'm just alumni, so I don't technically have to mourn as much!

The only person I am upset about with Florida is that stupid Joakim Noah. Man that guy looks like such a whiney little b!tch. Every time I watched him play he would just start cussing and whining when he didn't get his way... Other than that, I thought Florida actually deserved the win- they played a really solid game.

You wanna talk about football... I was just totally let down by that. Total embarrassment

how bout the fact that OSU made it to the National Championship game in the two major College sports? yeah, that's something to laugh at, soo many schools do that.

yeah, Florida was good this year, in both sports, and they beat us, they got the bragging rights. but someone from ANY other school in the nation can't say CRAP to us.

That's what I'm afraid of. I do not want to have to eBay it or wait 2 weeks for the mail to drag its ass. I've never waited in line for anything overnight before, but I think it is definitely in order for the iPhone!

I apologize in advance for going off-topic again.

I went to high school with Joakim Noah. He didn't strike me as being "whiney" back then, but he's certainly spirited about the game. He's not dumb as rock like those OSU players either...although I wouldn't call him intelligent, he's probably got above average intelligence for a basketball player. Unfortunately, that's not saying a whole lot. He's even uglier in person too.

I have a bit of a friend at my local apple store (this guy I have run into a bunch and now knows me pretty well), and he says that they are planning on handling HUGE crowds on release day ("best-buy style" business were his words). I'm hoping this means stores will be getting large shipments. This also means that they are ramping up hiring (they are considering it a "season" like Christimas) and so I applied . Anyway, I'm not sure about this list of reserves but I know that all of the Apple stores are up and preparing for it already. Hopefully nowhere will run out.

I will unfortunatly be in Europe while the iPhone is released and wont be back stateside til August.

But, my BF is an Apple Genius at the 5th Ave Store in NYC. So I'll have one of the first ones even though I'll be on another continent!
