Can we physically go to the Apple store tomorrow and do pre-order, reason for asking because the trade in if I do it online have to pay full price vs going to apple store can do instant trade in and pay remaining balance. Only reason I want to do this because I don’t have all the cash for the full amount vs the price from trade in.

Doing a trade-in online should give you credit towards the purchase instantly too. They’ll only charge you the trade-in amount if you fail to send the phone in after a certain amount of time.

You can’t preorder physically in-store. Your best bet will be getting to an Apple store when stock arrives. This is also worth doing because there are trade in horror stories when shipped to apples third party partner. Always trade in directly at the store if possible.
