Apple rolling iBooks out across iOS 4 devices

According to Engadget Apple is rolling out iBooks out across iOS 4 devices.

I have not received an alert for it yet but I'm patiently waiting.

You receive it when you open up the App Store on the device but it doesn't work yet. I got the notification and it started downloading but right when it was finishing it said there was an error and it would download the next time I connected to iTunes. So I connected to iTunes and iBooks downloaded but it was the iPad version. My guess is that we have to wait until apple updates it to make it universal.
