If you get an email from Apple the day after you purchase your Xs inviting you for an online personal session, the first thing you should ask the Apple Specialist is: are you going to be demonstrating on the new Xs?

Just went through 20 minutes before mine admitted she did not have the new phone so couldn't show me any of the new camera techniques (she had the X). The idea of these sessions is great, but Apple - it doesn't help if they don't have the new phone.

I didn’t even know there were sessions like this for iPhone. I thought mostly such sessions existed for macs.

I'm guessing most MR users would know as much if not more, yes. But since I was coming from the 7, they made the half-hour online session offer sound like it would be useful.

Note this is an online session, so the concept is good - you can watch your computer as the Apple person shares the screen while you are on a voice phone call. You can also focus on any areas of your concern, like accessibility, for example.
