I am moving to The Netherlands this July, but before I head to Europe I will be visiting the States and was planning on buying my Macbook in the states (primarly because of the freaking high Euro). And well I was wondering if there were any Apple Stores or Apple Service Centres, Genius Bars in the Netherlands.

My second question is that if I purchase my Macbook in the US and something happens to it, can I just bring it to a Service Center in The Netherlands or any other place in the world? (Or is the Warranty only valid in the Country you purchase it?)
Thanks In advance

Portable Macs have an International warranty.

IIRC, extended Applecare however is only applicable in the country in which it was purchased. m If you are going to be in Europe for 3 years, wait til you get there before purchasing the optional Applecare
