What company does Apple use to ship with. I have a 15" PB on the way that was through a Government purchase order and I can't get any shipping information. So, I'm going to try and contact whatever company it is and see if I can get any report on shipments to my house. Thanks.

Usually Apple lists the shipper on the E.Mail about your shipment. There should be a tracking number so that you can follow your shipment. All of my shipments have been via Fed-Ex. Good luck with your PowerBook.

i ordered a ibook and ipod mini from apple at the same time. my ipod mini came first by ups. and the ibook a few days later by fedex. so is every thing that is bought from apple shipped from one warehouse? or different locations and use different shipping companies?

My mini shipped via Fedex. That was super fast too, and I didn't pay for expedited shipping. I just ordered Tiger yesterday and that shipped via UPS, estimated 5 day shipping- got there the next day. :) Only had to travel one state.

Personally, I like FedEx more, but whatever gets it to me safe I am happy with. :)

I think they're different in each country. My powerbook shipped FedEx, my Airport Express and iMac shipped Same Day and my iPod shipped Puralator.

Well, the problem lies with the fact that I e-mailed the guy at Apple which the order was placed through, and he hasn't e-mailed me back. I e-mailed on Tuesday, the order should have gone through either last Friday or this Monday, and still no reply back. So, I was going to try and do some research myself.

Well, without trying to sound too sarcastic, thats what a telephone is for. Perhaps hes out of the office or the emails get routed through some fancy@$$ application.

Actually, he has received e-mails just fine in the past. We had been communicating by phone and e-mail for the past couple weeks. So, rather than harassing him any further while he is busy, by calling him, I figured I would try and do some research myself. If he were available he would have contacted me.

Sometimes they get involved in others things and forget. It's great to see that you are trying to be polite. Sometimes if you really want to know something you just have to make the call.

True. Most people could care less for you. There are always trying to solve their own problems; you just happen to get in their way.
