Since we are moving towards more BT tech. A set of Airpods instead of Earpods in the Iphone Xs Box would be a nice surprise. All other manufacturers are moving towards premium Audio but Apple seems to have abandoned that section.

Well if you’re talking about premium audio, I think they mentioned it while talking about built in speakers.
Built in speakers is not the same as Premium Audio.
A cheaper set of Airpods would not kill the premium Airpod market.
Apple is not about anything “cheap” though. AirPods have been very successful throughout the world and a move like that will definitely jeopardise sells.
New report says Apple wont include a Dongle to connect headphones. Hmmmm, I wonder if there will even be headphones inside the box....
