All Devices Apple should move the arrow keys on the iPad software keyboard

I’m finding more and more often when reaching for the delete key I end up hitting the up or down arrow instead. And with auto correct being so atrocious in iOS 13 I’m using the delete key more than ever. I’m not sure where to put the arrow keys but move them somewhere other than right above the delete key.

Oh and on an unrelated note can we please get cut/copy/paste on the iPhone keyboard? Or at least allow users to choose what they want? I would certainly replace the up/down arrow keys with cut/copy/paste.

Not sure either what arrow keys you are talking about. The only ones I see are the shift keys, but none of those are near the delete key.

I guess I wasn’t clear. They’re not arrow keys. I don’t know if they have an official name. Page up/down? Anyways all I know is I’m constantly hitting them when I meant to hit the delete key.

I’m not using any 3rd party keyboard.

To be specific it is the ios keyboard. It’s just the top row can be different depending on the app. What app are you using OP?

I believe those arrows, on my phone it’s a sideways arrow, give you additional format options. It will vary by device(size of keyboard) and what app. The screenshot below was just taken on my 3rd gen iPad Pro 12.9. I use the Apple keyboard folio case but as soon as I pulled the ipad up off the keyboard the same arrows as yours appeared. And once I put the ipad back on the keyboard they have remained there. Those options are not consistent. I think this is another bug, sometimes they are there sometimes not. But other than the downward arrow, which I have when I’m using the keyboard case I don’t know a way to get rid of that bar. The screenshot just below is with the keyboard case in use. That downward arrow at the far right will remove that bar with those options. The shot below it is using the onscreen keyboard.

Those carrots appear when I’m typing something on this site (or one like it). They also appear on any site where you’re entering name/address or credit card info. They move the cursor from one input box to another. I get the purpose just wish they were placed somewhere else.
