Seriously.

I can't stand all the ugly iPad docks in the market I want a simple dock I can take with me everywhere.

I really hope Apple have one in the making with lightening connector I need one for my iPad mini.

Agreed. Loved the one I had for the 3. Now hoping for a Mophie Power Stand for the Air. I had one for my 3 Gen, and it was fantastic. C'mon Mophie!

all the iPad docks in the market right now which are compatible with iPad mini look awful to me...for now i'll just order the new Alubolt from Just Mobile..

Docks are pointless with the dumb Lightning connector. If you have to hold the dock down to forcefully pull out the iPad/iPhone because the connector clicks in so damn tight, it's really annoying and more trouble than it's worth.

Why oh why doesn't apple make magnetic connectors for the iOS devices like they do for the Macbooks????? Those are the most perfect connectors ever, and would be great for a dock. The magnet just clicks in and the connector is connected perfectly. Takes minimum force to remove, but it connects with enough strength to not fall out. When I heard apple was coming out with a new connected to replace the 30 pin model I was sure it would be like the magnetic macbook connection. Huge disappointment. At least the 30 pin connector could slip in and out without much force.

Your lightning connector clicks in tighter than the old 30 pin connectors? LOL, that's the first time I've ever heard THAT one... wow.

But seriously, the reason they don't make the docks anymore is because people love them. If people love the docks, people will make concessions to be able to use the dock. The primary concession has always been you can't use a dock with a case. So Apple can sell an iPhone dock for $29 instead of a case for $39? I think not! Or an iPad dock for $39 when they can sell you a smart case for $79? Not a good business move for them. They're a business and want to SELL things that make them money, not make their other products not work.

Yes. Notice how they don't advertise it like they do cases? Notice how they don't even suggest the dock when you buy the phone online? Yes, exactly like the 5s dock. It's all about cases cases cases, highly profitable to sell, cheap to ship, and they wear out and have to be replaced with a new case = return buyer. LOL
