On macOS, the file browser is called Finder. On all other systems, the file browser is called Files. I think the app for browsing files should be called Files.

On all platforms, the app for finding stuff is called Find My. I think an app for finding stuff should be called Finder.

Wouldn’t it be nice if across systems, these apps had consistent names. Files for files and Finder for finding.

Yes, it would. Your suggestion makes perfect sense. But, of course, Apple will never adopt it.
