Jon Prosser was tweeting this morning that he's hearing there will be an Apple Mac ARM event on the 17th November which may be confirmed by press release the Tuesday before, 10th November.

Given his recent hit rate with rumours I think its as reliable a rumour as we'll get and does tie-in with what we've all been expected.

If so, we're finally nearly there to discovering what the future holds for the Mac.

Edited thanks to @leman 👍

Just a quick note: he says that the event is Nov 17., with event itself being announced on Nov 10. So not next week.

Timing makes perfect sense to me. Consistent with historical Mac events.

Right, as the screenshot you posted says, the event is rumored for November 17th, but it will be confirmed on the November 10. See the front page story:

So hopefully there will be Macs to order after the event for delivery by 31st December!
