Yes, Apple Silicone. Apple has released a new silicone loop watch band, called Solo Loop.

Waiting on the reviews on this. I so far see no benefit over the Sport bands. I actually enjoy the metal clasp process of putting the band on

Yeah that’s where I am too. Also, Apple says the silicone band may stretch out over time, which doesn’t sound promising. Apple’s whole attitude of “we don’t like bands with buckles” was such a weird moment of the presentation. I still miss the old Classic Buckle line even 2 years later.

I think the Solo Loop looks cool and seems like a fantastic sports band but honestly everything will be in the execution (how stretchy it is etc.) and how well it holds up (its concerning Apple is already warning it may lengthen over time.)

I ordered one to try... if it lasts and is as comfortable as I hope I think I'd be buying a lot of these but we shall see... most of my favorite bands today are the Sports Bands.

One benefit of the Solo band, that ties into something else they’re promoting with the Watch now - take a look at the smallest size on the “print out and try” sizing thing. It would fit a small child’s wrist. No other Apple band goes so small. Also with nothing to unbuckle, perhaps less likely for kids to take it off. Meshes well with the “use parents iPhone to set up kid’s Apple Watch arrangement they have now.

I want one of the braided bands, but I can’t decide which color.

I guess we won’t know until they are “in the wild”, but I wonder how much the silicon loop will stretch and how easy it’ll be to put on. I have a medium wrist but large hand. I want to be able to slip it on and off easily without it being too loose on my wrist.
