Hey-
I recently got a MBP with the back to school deal, so I got $200 of an iPod Touch... I didn't take advantage of the printer deal. Now my fiancee is wanting a MBP herself, and this is where my question comes in...
Does Apple offer the student discount price year round? Do they run the printer special year round as well? I know the iPod touch deal is only with the back to school special, but am wondering about the other two aspects. If they do offer the education discount and printer deal year round, then we are going to wait to get hers until late September instead of cutting finances really tight and getting it at the end of this month.
There is no desire for another iPod touch, as the first one was for her, and I have no need for one given that I have a Nexus One which is more then enough for me, and prefer vinyl records for my listening pleasure (I know, 20 year old that prefers vinyl). The only concern is the student discount and the $100 off a printer (should have gotten it last time as ours recently bit the dust).
