I actually wish mine would, just a little. I'm sort of between sizes with the holes in the band. The one I'm using is ever so slightly tighter than I'd like, but the next biggest one is too loose to maintain reliable contact with my wrist. If the band would stretch just a tad, it would be perfect.

Have you tried the other strap in the watch box?

No...I'm only on the fourth (middle) hole on the smaller strap...I imagine the longer one would be way too long and I'd have to tuck most of it underneath. I'll give it a try, though.

Unless you got the 38mm and it's different for some reason, the strap in the box should be smaller.

My white band has stretched just enough to put me between holes. Nothing too bad some times I leave it a little loose and if I am being more active I tighten it a hole. Overall still very comfortable.

OK, the subject title of this thread sucks. It should be "Does the Sports band stretch?" You made it sound like YOU have a stretched band.

My 38mm Space Grey Sport came with the S/M band on and the M/L in the box. I use the S/M band which was already attached.

I effing love my watch.

Just wear it on the tighter setting for a while. You'll get used to it. Your band might stretch slightly, but, mostly, you'll just get used to it. The watch works better when it's snug anyway.

Ugh, yes. I came here looking for this exact sort of thread. My black sport band was tight and secure on me at the 2nd to last notch, and now a week later it's got just a tiny bit of breathing room that causes my watch to move just slightly when I move my arm.

A problem? No. A little annoyance that I'll definitely get used to? Definitely.

Over the course of the last 3 months, my black sports band on my 42mm Sport Space Grey, has stretched one notch in length. I compare it to my blue and green sports band, and the black band is literally almost 1cm longer now. Kind of annoying. Whats gonna happen a year from now?

Are you sure it's stretching it are you losing weight?

I've lost 20 pounds using the Apple Watch and I've gone down nearly two holes on my sport band because of it!

In my case I know its stretching because I measured it directly compared to a blue and green band. (I wear the black most often) and indeed the black band is now longer than both the green and blue.

Oh and congrats on your weight loss!

Given the material and wear and tear it will undergo, I do expect to see some level of stretching. We'll see how it holds up over the coming months.

One thing I like about this, over the fitbit surge is that if something happens to the band, I replace the band. With the fitbit surge the whole watch has to be replaced.
