Apple still hasn't received my iPhone

I sent it in on friday but they still haven't received it. Is this normal because of the weekend or is something wrong?

How did you send it? UPS doesn't travel on weekends. You DID send it via a trackable source, right?

I dropped it off at the apple store so im not sure how they send it...

I took my iPhone into an Apple store on Sat. August 18 and was told that I should have it back by Wed. August 29. I checked the repair site several times last week and it never showed that they had received it. I called Apple yesterday to check up and found out that it was still at the Apple store. Got several stories about why it was still there, either it was overlooked or it was sent back by mistake. There's now a "rush" on it and as of this morning it is at the repair site in Texas. Told that it should take two days to fix it, battery issue, before they send it back to me. So, if all goes well I might have it back on Friday.

If I were you I would give them a call on Wednesday if the online status doesn't show it there.

Aight it showed as being diagnosed this morning. Im leaving for college across the country on friday so i hope i get it back before then.

Damn i just checked it again and its already on step 3, returning. THat was less than hours that they had my phone. Maybe there sending me a new one? i hope i get the 5 screen again.

That would be nice if they sent you a new phone. I hope I don't have the same issue I just took mine into the store today for a non responsive screen. My fingers are crossed to get it by this weekend!

Sorry that happened. Someone (at the Apple Store) dropped the ball. You, unfortunately, have to suffer the consequences for someone else being inept.

Cool Beans....I was afraid it had never made it to Apple. I suppose dropping it off yourself is about as quick as you can get it in their hands.

thanks man! i don't really care whether its new or not, as long as everything worked like on my old one, and i get another 5 series screen.
