I took my iPhone into an Apple store on Sat. August 18 and was told that I should have it back by Wed. August 29. I checked the repair site several times last week and it never showed that they had received it. I called Apple yesterday to check up and found out that it was still at the Apple store. Got several stories about why it was still there, either it was overlooked or it was sent back by mistake. There's now a "rush" on it and as of this morning it is at the repair site in Texas. Told that it should take two days to fix it, battery issue, before they send it back to me. So, if all goes well I might have it back on Friday.
If I were you I would give them a call on Wednesday if the online status doesn't show it there.
