I am curious if the SSDs shipping as an option on the new Mac Minis are 6G transfers over the SATA 3 or still just 3G.

I'm going to go out on a limb here (sorry) and say no way :D

All the Airs are the slower non-6gb/s, and I don't think any current Apple product is shipping that way.

Regardless, this could have/be changed at any time without any sort of indication, so who knows.

My bet is on the slower.

New Mac Minis are 6GB capable, but the SSD included operates at 3GB. People on the boards are usually opting to get the base drives, and then use a 6GB SSD like the ones at macsales.com or something to get 6GB throughput.

Thanks for the info. Too bad they just don't include a 6G SSD for so much money.
