I got through a few hours ago on Apple.com and I got a confirmation e-mail, but is there anywhere on Apple's site where you should be able to confirm that they do in fact have the reservation stored?

Use the Apple Store app on your phone as an option. Works here.

under the account order status, I don't think it would show for a reserve. It would probably show something for those who opted to have it shipped.....

You should have received an email which "confirms" that your iPhone is reserved.

+1 which is why I suggested the Apple Store App which DOES show my reservation.

Great! I looked everywhere on the website and nada. Nice that an app is better than the web for something.
