I just got my iMac back from AppleCare/Apple Store service for the fifth or sixth time. This machine has had its logic board, HDD, power supply and LCD in the past 10 months (logic board a little farther back).
Anyways, the problem (won't often wake from sleep, never wakes for EyeTV recordings) is still around. What can I do? The kids at the Apple Store obviously cannot fix it and I really have no desire to go out of my way again just to have it not fixed.
Is there any way I can demand a replacement machine or something like that? There is, at least in my mind, something really, really wrong with this particular iMac. So much so that if I hadn't ever owned another Mac I would consider switching to a PC... that makes me sick.
