Apple Store in the USA & around the world

Really? I've seen photos of absolutely amazing Apple Stores outside of the US, and I've been to a fair number of ordinary Apple Stores in the US. And the opposite is also true. I've been to some absolutely amazing Apple Stores in the US, and seen photos of ordinary Apple Stores outside the US.
The only truth I can glean from this is that not every Apple Store is designed to draw news reporters and tourists, but the richest shopping districts in the world's greatest cities (especially those that are centers for the news media) are likely to have an absolutely amazing Apple Store.

Say the Apple Store in the heart of the city of London is less grander than the one in California.
Which one?
Covent Garden is a stunning store, two glass stair cases and a glass elevator based over multiple floors an a gorgeous building.
Have you looked at why tho? Local historical planning plays a huge part not to mention expected footfall. You can't put a huge glass cube in the middle of London so the buy existing buildings and renovate them. And tbh they do a great job.
Regent Street was in the middle of a refit when I last visited so was very underwhelming but I'm guessing it will be worth a visit when it's all finished.
There are 53 Apple Stores in California. Which one? There are 5 Apple Stores in London. Both Covent Garden and Regent Street look pretty impressive. Certainly more impressive than many of those California stores. But some California stores are also quite impressive.
You're posing the question as if trying to prove some sort of cultural bias or imperialism on Apple's part. If that's what you want to believe, go right ahead. Apple, however, is in this for the money. They like English money. They like Chinese money, French, Russian, Japanese, Italian, Brazilian... And they build stores designed to attract that money. In urban centers where there are lots of well-off shoppers, they spend extra-lavishly on those stores. That's capitalism.
Yeah I understand what you mean. It's just always seem to be not as awesome as the ones in the USA. That's all.
Of course they like money. That's the whole point of running a business. I was just making a statement and not anything heavy as what you've up with.

What do you mean? A bunch of the ones in Silicon Valley are just plain open spaces with a bunch of tables and nothing more (not even multiple floors, or anything else really).
I think the glass cubes are boring. I also like the historical buildings they bought and the way they set them up.

Have you noticed how grander the US is compared to the rest of the world? Third largest country by area and third most populous country, of course the stores here will be bigger.
I like the European version better the mix of old and modern is really cool.

Come to Perth, Western Australia, and our retail stores are non-comparable.. all the good ones are in Melbourne..
