I don't think they are releasing new products. Wouldn't there be plenty of rumors days or hours before the store goes down? I think they are doing maintenance or they have server issues.

It was down last night too and they updated it, I wonder what's happening tonight, I don't think it's just maintenance, they would have done that last night.

They're probably changing something... but not introducing a new product. This would be a seriously weird time of week to introduce a new product.

I hope they are finally making the Radeon 5870 upgrade kit for Mac Pros available. I hate refreshing that page only to see it still says "Unavailable."

I agree, been keeping it up on my monitor and refresh every time I can just to see "Currently Unavailable"

Apple has released new products on Saturdays... I think... any thing is possible... iLife '11 maybe :D

Its crazy, isn't it? People caring so much about such things on an Apple rumor site...

But its just ridiculous.
The site is down, lets all sit there refreshing for four hours so that we can be the first to know that the magic mouse is now 5 bucks cheaper.

You're being a bit extreme and rude. So some people get excited over the possibility of something new they may need, so what? Mocking them doesn't serve any purpose.

It says a great deal about the suitability of Apple in the enterprise arena, when they can't even tweak a fairly small store, or add a few new products, without turning the whole damn thing off.

Well they can do it without turning the whole thing off, they just like to keep some people in suspense. :D
