That’s awesome to hear. Ya it’s very hit or miss, which is disappointing. I get it’s launch day and you have tons of other customers, but if a customer purchased an item (especially at its price), they shouldn’t be turned away to come back another time.My window was 10:45AM to 11AM today, got in line at 10AM and walked out at 10:25AM. The specialist was pretty good today.
My experiences have been similar. Sometimes the "greeter" is great and really helpful, the genius is terrible, and has zero business dealing with customers. Other times it is the opposite.
When I had my AirPods Pros replaced a few weeks ago the greeter and genius were awful, the tech was outstanding.
