no matter what I do when I shop on the apple store website it lists my store location wrong. I have input the correct zip asked to save for future visits, restart, turned off then on location services. Any suggestions?

I've had the same issue forever. Apple's site knows that I'm in the Chicago area, but it always starts with 60601, which is downtown and an hour away from me. I've tried every option that I can think of to make it remember my location/zip code, but it just won't do it.

There may be a cookie somewhere that if deleted would allow you to re-enter the correct zip code, but I don't know how to identify it.

you would think apple if anyone could make this work

I've had this problem forever. I can change the store and it holds for a little while but then picks some other random Apple Store. I suspect that they are using location based on ISP as I get this from some other vendors that I use from time to time.

Apple's definitely doing something strange. Today I went to do a stock check on Apple's site and it located me in Tennessee. It usually just puts me in the wrong place in the Chicago area where I live, but today, it decided to show me another state.

The way they have the checkbox that says "Save my location for future visits" seems like it ought to simply store the ZIP code that you enter, but for me, at least, it seems to remember the ZIP code of the last store that I looked at on the site. At least that's what it did until today. Oh well.
