It's been reported in the Liverpool Echo (our local paper) that Apple are opening a store in the new £1Billion Grosvenor development shopping center.

It ties in with the 2008 capital of culture, when the complex opens.

The report also contains information that Apple are working with the building developers to design a really nice store....

I'm well made up - closest store is 35 miles down the M62 in Manchester

Liverpool is getting a lot of money spent on it which is good, in fact it seems like a lot of the major cities, Birmingham, Sheffield are going through a period of big regeneration.

Liverpool desreves an apple store after all it is the 3rd Largest City in England, behind London and Birmingham. After all Sheffield has one and it is smaller than Liverpool by about 30,000 people.

Deffo mate - we do need a store, not just for a local perspective, but there are loads of people visiting the city.

As soon as it opens I'll be there to spend loads of money! :)
