I just received a new MBP purchased from Macconnection. However, the casing is bent along the open/close button latch. Unfortunately, Macconnection is now sold out of this model.

My question is can I get it replaced at the Apple store even if I didn't buy it there, or do I have to mail it to Apple to get repaired ?

Thanks

Always return it where you got it from. That's why Ilike Amazon. Great return policy.

Yeah...

That didn't sound like an employee post at all...

But that's why I use FedEx, cause they ship stuff fast and on time.

I don't think the apple store will accept a return for something that was bought at a different retailer. They will probably just tell you to take it back to mac connection.
