Apple store updatinG!

It could be for both! But it's probably just for the white iPhone. If the iMac refresh isn't included today, then we will see what happens on Tuesday!

You're probably right. But I just can't help but get my hopes up! Been waiting for so long (like most of us here lol)

Come on Apple! Make me a happy little apple =P
 
It's down here in Australia and I think worldwide, meaning that it is nearly definitely an update and not just maintenance. But maybe just white iPhone...funny that they'd announce it before updating the store though?
 
Apple may have already put new imac promotion on their website right now. It's uneconomical to just take down their Store again next week just for imac

It's just they don't display them yet. They hide it behind :D
 
just another thing keeping me from sleeping tonight. This is the first time I have actually had to wait an extended time to buy a mac.... this will be my 8th mac in the last 4 years.

The frikin white iPhone now replace iPad 2 on :apple: main page. Store is not up yet, but i bet it is just iPhone 4

Dang .. i want my iMac, not some silly white phone box!!
 
the stupid iphone has been there all morning(morning in sweden). The store has been down for atleast 2 hours now, 2 hours for a frikkin phone? I still have my hopes up :D
 
Is there really that many people who are waiting for the white iphone 4? I think it looks cheap and not as nice as the black. Also, you would think people would just wait for the next revision of the phone.

And what they hell.... Apple shuts down all buying just to add the iphone? Really???
 
Who knows, they could put them up and let you pre-order now instead of waiting til Tuesday (if even, of course).
 
Only thing keeping hope alive is the fact that the store is closing on 3 hours down... I don't believe that they will take the store down next week for the imac when its been down this long a week earlier. Either its coming Naaaoo(give it to uuuusss!), or it aint coming until later. I hope i'm wrong tho if it aint showing today :D
 
I can see whats happening here.

- Everyone knows its the white iPhone

- Everyone wants an iMac update

- Everyone believes the iMac will be released

- Everyone is now talking about an iMac

- Everyone slates Apple for not releasing a new iMac.
 
Common sense should signal anyone that a whole store shouldnt have to shut down for any amount of time, let alone 3 hours, just to add a different color of an existing product.

I agree, but apple will also put up the iPad 2 in 13 countries.

Dunno, but just for reference...the iphone page hasnt changed at all either...still the same as yesterday.

Maybe it takes a long time to update their E-commerce vs the static page updates... i dunno

The iMac section is down at the moment. If you click the button to make a purchase, it shows the back soon page. I'm not holding my breath, but it's exciting to think.
